Lezyne super drive switch issue

I have one of the above. It has this issue where the light goes on and then off (battery fully charged) and will not go on. Luckily I have 2x front lights. However, for some inexplicable reason if I try it again after 20 mins or so, it works fine.

Can the switch be replaced or should I get a cheaper spare light?

How old is it lezyne have a 2yr warranty.

I reckon it's worth emailing lezyne to ask.
I bought a different lezyne light from my lbs a around 3-4 years ago. When the battery life diminished they sent the unit back to lezyne - as they'd promised when purchased - and all the innards, as well as the switch were replaced.
I was under the impression that, at least back then, policy was to replace battery whenever it started to die. The switch was a bonus.

Thanks, tried that but my model, version 1, is too old to do. A bit of a bugger as I bought it about 2/3 years ago, but they no longer keep spares for it.

I may stick with hope, which is not as convenient as I have the lezyne mounts and usb re chargeable is easier than batteries.

It may be worth trying the low energy mode...you have to hold the button for a number of seconds and it switches to a basic on and off, no flash but with a lower output. That may at least allow you to use it in some way untill its sorted.

Hmmm its got me interested. Now does it always work after the 20 min delay?

Could you find /take a pic so i know what model you have?

Where about are you? If you have an old fashioned electronics shop or know an electronics guru somewhere they maybe able to help...
Sounds more of an electronic fault rather than a switch if it works after a delay.

It's the original super drive. It's intermittent. And then after trying like 10 times leaving it for 10 mins or so it then works
