Lezyne Powerdrive front light - well happy with it :)

just been out to try my new lights and must say well happy with them. I bought the lezyne powerdrive front light with max power of 475 lumens. its defitanly bright enough. The only downfall when on full power will only get 1hr 30mins time until battery dies. is there a light out there with similar power with a lot more battery life

Check out the cree 6 thread. £18 delivered. Very bright, more than adequate to see with and then some. Battery lasts 4-6 hours on full whack.

I run two ultrafire 502B torches on medium which is probably about 600 lumens and get about 4-6hrs runtime easy. Very neat and not too dissimilar to what you have already interms of no cables getting in the road and self contained battery. The only downside I suppose is that the initial outlay of batteries and a good charger but have ran this set all last winter and its back in use again this winter and no problems whatsoever. Very right and good quality build for chinese lights. In fact much better than the T6 Cree XML lights with the battery pack that loads of folk have on here.

Think my set up came in at under £40 as I had batteries from an old laptop pack.

I run 2x Ultrafire 502Bs as well, and I got them from mdflaslights (via their ebay shop) as a package with batteries, mounts and charger. Whilst the torches are very good the supplied accessories are crap, so I've upgraded them and after several 'versions' I'm now happy with the setup
