Hi all,

I've got a Lezyne 900XL and it should have seven different modes, including flashing, but I only get two: Steady beam and maximum power beam.

According to the instructions you just press the only button on it to change modes.
But when I use it I get this:

Turn it on: Max power
1st press: Steady lower power
2nd press: off
3rd press: Max
4th press: Steady
5th press: off
Etc.

The only other difference to the instructions is that it has a blue light flashing when charging rather than green.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

TP

From the instructions, it sounds as if you have it in 'overdrive race mode'.

With the light OFF, hold the button for five seconds, until the light flashes.

The above summarised from the instructions within the 'Operation' section.

I don't know the model but I have a Lezyne 1200 thingy. It seems to have 2 series of light sequences (Deca and Super mode.) To switch between the 2 sequences you have to hold the power button for 5 seconds from off. Try that.

EDIT: I see sea of vapours has encountered the odd world of Lezyne lighting....

Sounds like the same way my Lezyne Macro Drive works. Was very confused when I first got it as it is supposed to have 7 modes and I could only get 5. The remaining 2 are hidden in the Overdrive Race Mode as SoV says; and you appear to have it on that mode. Do as above :okay:.

And as if by magic...!

I feel like Jamie and he Magic Torch.

I guess it just knew I was a rip roaring TDF speed rider and put itself in "overdrive race mode".

Cheers all.

I've had a Lezyne Macro about 3 years and this has been educational. Cheers!

Btw and as promised by my LBS when I bought it, when mine stopped charging Lezyne replaced the battery/innards free of charge, they even replaced the button.
