Having written to a few people yesterday (my MP Simon Hughes, Boris, Valerie Shawcross (LAM for my area plus Chair of the Transport Committee) & the Sec. of State for Transport) about cycle safety. I just had a response from Ms Shawcross that indicates she actually read the letter.
Anyway, she took on board a few of the comments I made and made mention that 'the London Assembly Transport Committee will be reviewing cycling in London at its meeting on 10 December (Chamber, City Hall, 10am)' and they will be issuing a questionnaire online for cyclists to comment on the improvements needed etc.
I'll ask Ms Shawcross where this questionnaire will be posted and let you guys know but in the meantime, I don't think it'll do any harm at all for as many of us as possible to write to some of these people expressing our concerns and highlighting our experiences. It mightn't do any good but it must be worth a try huh?
