I'm going to have a go, yes. I've been ramping up from zero at the start of this year, to my first century a few days ago (Ride 101 from Thame: 101 miles + 1800m climbing in 6:40), so I'm hoping that continued training over Winter will mean that I can complete L'Etape.

I will be building up using Chris Carmichael's "Time Crunched Training Program" nearer the time, while building as big a base as possible over winter. If I can't get into Etape, then the Maratona des Dolomites looks like a good blast...

Cheers,
Darren
