Hi Guys,
New to the forum,
Joined as someone else on here has asked about others planning on doing LEJOG in 2016.
I am,
Supported (As a colleague has offered to drive the route as well)
Will be camping all the way, planning to do it in 9 - 12 days
As I have support I'm hoping I don't need to book campsites, B&Bs etc (worse case I can sleep in the car)
Not a great cyclist, in my youth I could do a hard 50 mile off road route with my eyes shut, but as a 44 year old My head thinks 50 miles is breeze but my body doesn't agree.
I have done a number of 60+ rides and last August I managed 107 Miles in one day, but I'm not good at hills, and around Manchester where I regularly ride there aren't many of them.
Currently starting to practice hills, Wryness and Hardknott planned in the next couple of weeks, Will probably take all day, but it's a start. (as long as it doesn't start snowing!)
Axe.
