I was in Lefkas for two weeks, windsurfing and mtb-ing.

Great fun, so thought I'd share one of my rides - mostly off road - some of seriously lumpy with interesting plummets off the mountain if you get it wrong.

not the steepest ride I did - one of them had some 20% sections, but given it was more or less straight up for an hour Iwas quite proud of myself

Ive got some gopro footage too so will try and upload that this weekend

If we go to skiathos again next year I'll be taking the MTB- there's loads of forest trails and fireroads to explore- gets a bit warm though!

if you set off at 7:30- 8:0 its not too bad though and you can get back for breakfast and then go out again in the evening, leaving a whole day for everything else

I did a cycle tour round Greece last year - and it finshed in Lefkas. I really, really loved cycling in Greece. It exceeded my expectations. But heat was an issue as I did it in July/August. But I didn't have too many problems with it - just had to wake up at 5am and make sure that any climbs I did were started really early. It's a great cycling destination - the scenery is amazing.
