Leeds to London

Hi all, I'm cycling from Leeds to London in March this year and am in the process of planning our route. I've seen that the trans pennine trail central route goes from Leeds to Chesterfield, however, after Chesterfield I'm struggling to plot a route that's suitable!! Anyone done this route before that can help?
