I have a Specialized Airtool but the air has started to leak out of the little button in the handle that you push to reduce the pressure.

I've tried freeing it up but it doesn't appear to be stuck in a pressed on position.

Is it likely to be stuck in or is there a seal in there somewhere that perishes? A drop of oil around it?

Suggestions please

Hi, I'm new to the forum, just noticing this and thought i'd sign up.
I wouldn't mix oil with compressed air as it can become explosive, the oil can heat due to the friction of the hot air and catch fire

It appears the Specialized Airtool is fancy name for a mini pump so no need to worry about adding oil - I can't imaging it being a problem.

most likley the will be som seal that has worn or become damaged - if you are lucky it is a common size o-ring otherwise you either need to contact specialize dealer or buy a replacement; £ 20 ish so not hugely expensive.

No so.
The term 'air tool' is used by specialized for all pumps they sell. Not only mini-pumps.
Without more information from the OP we will not know or be certain what kind of pump it is.

Could be a CO2 or track pump for all we know.
