I cant see too many advantages to this. Could be a decent weight advantage if it is all carbon but it seems like it would be hard to fine-tune to the rider and there is much more that can go wrong riding rough terrain. I couldn't see this working for most mountain bikers other then cyclocross type trails.
Model T Ford suspension on a bike is a backward step. The only advantage I can see is the weight saving, which may find it a place it on the hybrid/tourer market.
But I think they need to work on the crap looks before it'll sell
