Have done it before, loved the event, great atmosphere.
I've left it too late to enter this time, it's sold out!

Quality route and signage etc. Can't beleive the feedstop was after 41 miles of a 48 mile course tho!!

We nipped into the shop and they were delivering a very thorough and competent brief to the staff and marshalls.

Ended up in the front group with the wheelbase guys Oh and the big guys were loving puching that big gear drafting until tow top of course thats when they came to a stop or as near damn it - First 25 miles covered in 70 mins amazing for quite an aggressive hilly course then of course the showers came more like torrential downpours Ended up on that Bianci Strada thingymagic what a bone rattler - Excellent organisation not as tough as the lakeland loop but still a nice meander around south lakes - Only thing putting me off the cumbrian sportive is the state of the lake district roads they are terrible and much worse as a result of the recent rains
