24 heures vélo au Mans 2009 > cyclosportive velo VTT vélo route cyclosportif cyclisme circuit le mans 24H

Came across this the other day-at first it looked scarey,but with a 'leisure' team of 6 riders each rider would only have to ride 4 times for 1 hour with 5 hrs rest till the next hr.
What an event to be part of !!

There is another thread on this somewhere but I'd like to have a go! I reckon the 'leisure team' approach is the way to go for me too.

The only two hills on the circuit ,,,,,,,,

Graham Hill and Phil Hill.

And William Hill's are the on-course bookies

A bit on the expensive side for me.

250 Euros for a single, and 600 Euros for team of 4.

leisure team is 8 (I put 6 in my 1st post) and costs E800.So,thats E100 each and 3 riding sessions of 1hr each with 7hrs rest-it gets better :-) This is hypothetical at moment for me-wife retires Easter 2010,plan is to buy motor home and be in Europe all that summer.

Edition 2010 : 21st and 22nd August

All at your calendars ! Following our recent meeting with the Automobile Club de l'Ouest, the 2010 edition of the 24H Cycling race should take place on the 21st and 22nd of August. This date is 99% sure, depending of the motorsport's federal authorities. We will keep you informed !
