interesting for touring/commuting/pootling I think and Doms a bit odd.

didn't that round the world cyclist chappie use them?

Is there not a danger of breaking your arms if you fall off and your arm slips through the bar?

Other than that, I know someone who uses them and swears by them for commuting :biggrin:

Personally, I wouldn't use them though

Probably lovely and comfortable on long rides.

They are very good for touring. I switched the drops on my upright touring bike for them. They do allow you to get exactly the most comfortable position for each hand.
