Late Alerts

I've recently had 'alerts' telling me about people quoting my post that are well over 24 hrs old. The latest which appeared this morning told me about a quote made on Thursday evening. I was online yesterday a couple of times, and indeed replied to the quote in one of those sessions.

Anyone else having this issue?

It'll likely the same BT / Yahoo mail issue I reported here: http://www.cyclechat.net/threads/email-issues-yahoo-btinternet-mail-deferred-delayed.95769/

I've appealed to Yahoo, given them technical information to enable them to confirm that CCs emails are genuine, but so far it's falling on deaf ears.

We're not the only site affected by this and the only way around it is to use an alternative email address for your CC account. Advice on other boards is to setup a free Googlemail email account and then configure it to forward all mail to your regular email address.
