Last race of the season tomorrow

Round 14 of Western League at Beaufort School in Gloucester tomorrow. Haven't raced since end of November (been ill, kids have been ill, I've been ill, kids have been ill, I've been ill........etc etc) so I'm expecting a kicking but it should be fun ('cross code for brick hard in freezing cold icy conditions). Still, best to give it a go coz there's no more racing for 9 months after that.

Well, no idea where I came but somewhere near the back. I got my a*se well and truly kicked - 5 weeks of no training and umpteen viruses really took its toll. I knew I was in for a hiding from the first lap. Still, had the pleasure of getting lapped by Roger Hammond at least twice.

Saw a few of your Halesowen boys steam past I think.

Hopefully will make it. Hammond was remarkable. I have never seen anyone that fast on a cross bike.
