Lands End To John O'groats

Hi All,

A freind of mine has asked me if i wish to cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats next May in aid of the Marie Curie trust.

I must be honest I haven't riden my bike in a long time!!!!!!

This will be one hell of a challenge!!

Can anyone help me with advice on various points?

TRAINING (no doubt the worst thing on my mind), Diet, Type of bike, accessories etc.

I need to know what i'm taking on!!!!

Im thinking about doing it next year with a few mates, sounds good fun... routes all planned out for you...all you gotta do is ride it!
