Point 1 - Funny phrase of words "Never failed a test. I rest my case" . this is different than saying I've never taken performance enhancing drugs? . Am I reading too much into it?

Point 2 - Why are sports people not allowed to take anything to enhance performance, doesn't training enhance performance? Is the drug issue that straight forward? why are some banned and some not, what is it that makes it banned?

Point 3 - Is it better to allow people to make their own choices? Like people have said about helmets, they don't like being told what to do with their own health, why should this be any different?

Well if there's no ban, the sportsmen who don't want to abuse their bodies with chemicals are at a big disadvantage.

i thought it was more a case of, whoever can afford the best drugs/doctor would be the best, so introducing more unfairness. cycling should be a test of natural ability.
