Lance Armstrong says if he could do it all again, he'd still cheat

It seems that Lance Armstrong has ditched the contrite manner in which he previously admitted to doping throughout much of his illustrious cycling career.

Now he sounds downright defiant.

He wanted to win - and he did - so why would he do anything differently in regards to doping. The only thing I imagine he would do differently is allowing people to catch him.

David Millar does a good job of trying to convince us he regrets having cheated. I kind of believe him too.
But he got caught.
Who knows what he would have felt if he'd got away with it, like 90% of his colleagues in the 2000's did?

I remember when Canadian Steve Bauer podiumed in the TdF and in an article he mentioned something about officials being surprised that his team was only running on "water". Was he clean? As a Canadian from the same hick village, I'd like to think so but hey Ryder Hesjedal recently admitted his cycling sins. Lance Armstrong doped and it hurt the whole sport. Everyone doing it doesn't make it right. At least he admits to lacking character and would do it all again.

except that most of his biggest rivals and his own glory team have admitted to doping or been caught out since. Armstrong rode in a pretty dirty peleton at this stage I think that's pretty much accepted.
