My feet look pretty normal to me, but bike shoe manufacturers seem to think that they are exceptionally wide. I don't seem to be able to find a pair that match my feet in terms of width and length simultaneously. A scratch around the internet suggests that Lidl, NorthWave, Lake , and Sidi do quite wide MTB SPD shoes. Lidl didn't have any shoes at local stores last time, and I can't drop the kind of money to consider Sidi, so NorthWave and Lake look like hopefuls. Evans have NorthWave at their larger stores and I can get to one in Central London quite easily. If they don't fit, does anybody know where I might go to try on some Lake shoes in faintly Central London? A shop, not on-line.
All suggestions welcome, as are alternative brands for wider feet.
Many thanks.
