My partner is 53 soon and I'm looking to buy her a bike. (As much as to try n kick start my cycling days again as well as getting her into it )
She used to cycle years ago and regularly did the route round Rutland water near us. But she's not ridden for a few years. I'd love to share this great past time with her and am looking for ideas on which bike to buy . I'm looking at spending upto £300 . I have a road bike and a hybrid bike so I'm looking for something for her that will suit both types of riding, road and bridle ways/disused railways etc

I've got an Evans bike shop near me so any suggestions on their stock would poss be very useful thanks.

My wife has a Pinnacle Neon that she uses to come on leisure rides with me. We mostly stick to cycle paths, and she tools around the city on hers when the weather is nice.
