amazed at how clean it was upon arrival. Original paint and complete decals..!

Label dated July 1985, and model P10PG in 'Misty Blue'

.
Came with a 5speed Maillard freewheel, RIGIDA Superchromix rims [vgc], and a Simplex SX410 rear mech.
No restoring was required - however relubed all the bearings, trued the rims and added new tubes, bar-tape, and brake and gear cables. .. And a new Bontrager saddle.
Some slight tarnish on the original Lyotard pedals - easily removed - clips added.

Peugeot Premiere? Looks just like the bike I was lucky enough to get for my 11th birthday - I had to turn the saddle clamp upside down, but I could just about ride it. I had great fun on that bike

Peugeot Premiere? ......................................................

the 1985UK catalog does indeed show a P10M Premiere
but the frame label states ''P10PG' which, in the catalog, is their ''Loire'' model

listed as a his'n'hers Touring bike

That really is stunning...never thought I'd like a retro bike...but it's just lovely!!!

i'm still a bit over-whelmed actually
i was looking for an older Raleigh [as my avatar] to ''do up'' for some summer riding
browsing Gumtree i saw the Peugeot listed at a bike dealer - a bit wary and so chatted to biggs
who twisted my arm and off went a cheque......

it arrived well packed and in superb condition
judging by the newish grease in the BB, it had been well maintained

i reckon i got real lucky with this one..............:excl:
