Kool Stop Brake Blocks for Road Bike

Hello all,

I'd like to replace my rear brake blocks with a set that are actually fit to stop a road bike. I know Kool Stops are highly recommended. I've looked around but for some reason I keep coming up with V-brake sets.

Could some kind soul point me in the right direction?

That's them - I bought some last month.

Actually - does anyone know if the cartridge inserts from different manufacturers are interchangeable? I'm thinking specifically of Koolstop, Decathlon's own brand & Shimano.

Mostly inserts are sold as either Shimano or Campag compatible. Kool-Stop make both kinds. A set of holders which is "unbranded" or from somewhere like Decathlon is, I suspect, much more likely to be Shimano compatible.

They are marginally cheaper on Wiggle if you have a discount.
As to compatibility so far Ive sourced Koolatops, Swisstops and BBB and they have been compatible with my Ultegra Holders, as the above post, I think its only shimano or campy type inserts usually.

I have these sort of brakes:

The brake pads do not slip out of any holder, though. They're in one piece, molded together.

Could someone tell me which ones are the right pads to buy?
