not used them, but have seen a few riders with them. i question there brightness but that might just be down to some lazy ass not changing the batteries.

I've found them quite good-they do fit anywhere and can be as bright as a good set of lights- plus they're not too bulky or heavy to carry.

I have seen a set working and they look great.

In fact I am looking for a set after seeing them, I like that idea of not having a clamp on the bike as these just strap-around. When they are off there is nothing on the bike at all.

I'm getting them as an extra set for my roadie on my commute and I can clip them on my hybrid whicj I just use to go on short trips to shops and the gym.

they're good, but they're supplementary lights, not main lights (imo). The mounting works brilliantly, fwiw. If you get a lighter colour (mine are the translucent white) you get a fair bit of light given off from the casing too, which can help with visibility somewhat.

I clip mine through the vents on my helmet, personally.

On the bike, I have one of these;

supplemented with a steady light.

Pro-Bike Kit had a set of rear & front frog lights on offer last year for £10, that's when I got mine.

I have some on my helmet and they work really well as a secondary light. They are surprisingly bright. They light up signs really well from not too far away.

For what they cost, stick them on your helmet and use them when it's overcast in the afternoon and at night with another set of lights.

I have a 'Frog' and will shortly have a 'Beetle'. The Frogs best feature is the mounting ability not the brightness. It's a light to be seen by not with therefore I think it's best on city roads or dusk. Anything other than that and you would need a brighter light and the Frog would be superfluous.

Got a front 5 led Toad - not bad, good backup light, no match for any 1w LED or bigger, bit long run times. I use the Knog with two rather good lights.....just for backup.... very neat units....
