Knee Joints

I have two bikes one is a hybrid with bull bars I find this the most comfortable to ride the other is a road bike claude butler entry range bike.
The claude butler i can cycle 50 plus miles in a day no problem. The other causes me pain in Knee joints three times I have been out on it recently my knee is unable to bend after cycling and causes extreme pain near the end of the ride. I am hoping i havent done any damage. Did 90 miles over two days this weekend and now its okay but was killing me at the time I usually ride 100 plus miles a week so really cant see distance being the issue.

I am not a doctor so maybe wrong but I would imagine there is a difference between 90 miles in 2 days and 100miles in a week. It maybe that you need to take it a bit steadier.

Saddle height is usually the first and most common problem. Measure height from saddle to bottom bracket on each bike and see if they're the same

Check the distance between the cranks.
I can't ride a bike with curved cranks like those on MTB's and some hybrids. They can be 1cm further out on either side.
They kill my knees if I use spd's or Look pedals.

I can't ride like John Wayne.
