Hi all,

Posted in accessories but no responses - Kit help needed

HORN
After snapping the dinger off two bells trying to warn peds, I want a half decent horn for my bike for no more than £15.
NOT and air-horn
NOT a bulb type
Just a elctronic on with decent blast to save my lungs - I was looking at something like this: http://www.cyclesportsuk.co.uk/produ...oducts_id=4596

Anyone got a recommend?

Mudguards
I have a road bike that I - at the moment - mainly use for commuting.
When I bought it I got a set of full size mudguards which I want to replace with the old style racing mudguards - They are about 10-12 inches ling and usually fit behind the brake mech.
The ones I had many moons ago were light alloy but I would consider any type.

Again, any recommends (preferably with links)?

Many thanks in anticipation of your responses

I cant really help you with horns or mudguards, but if you commute alot, what about a whistle? or would you find it too hard to breath with it in your theeth, i find shouting abuse helps me!

Guards - you can get raceblades which are longer than those ones 10 inch things we used to have - they were pants.

For commuting I'd recomment full guards and a good front mubflap - why...helps keep you dry, and reduced the crap that gets flung up at the drive chain.

SKS do some really nice full length guards - that don't look out of place - I've seen a few pairs of narrow black ones and you don't really notice them.

Thanks for the responses all - I shall look into the SKS.

Cyclenic, I have stopped shouting "Excuse Me" as this causes them to stop and turn around causing a real problem.
I try whistling myself and this sometimes works.

Cheers
