Poor chap, good luck to him.
Medically induced coma is indicative of brain damage, and, eyebrows raised, hopefully not an EPO induced trauma.
These guys give their lives for my amusement and pleasure, following the TdF since 1978. Respect.

Maybe, but there are easily enough stresses on a pro-cyclist to cause a heart-attack, especially in the case of an undiagnosed genetic predisposition etc.

I just wish him a full recovery, but as others have already said, it's unlikely he'll be racing again.
