Who is thinking of entering this ride at the end of October? I am certainly mulling over the prospect of doing the 98 miler as by then my stamina should have improved by literally miles.
The northern part of the route travels through an area I know rather well, in fact my nan and grandad live in the village of Longden where the route passes through, just a couple of yards from the crossroads.
The only problem is that it clashes with an annual weekend away in Wales for the last weekend of camping at Shell Island. I wouldn't want to miss it as it is a close social thing which we do every year and have a great time.
