kids' trailers and security

having just paid more for the trailer (burley encore) than i've ever paid for any complete bike, i'm just a bit concerned about how i'll secure it should i ever want to use it for a shopping trip with no kids in.

anyone any advice? it has qr wheels, just to complicate things…

Depends on the base.

We used to have an old Burley.

Turned it on it's side and U locked the base frame to a solid object

Doing similar with a cable through the wheels should deter the opportunist thief
