Kids GT Stomper 20" wheel 7spd MTB 2008 £50

I bought this for my oldest son around 2008/9 and both sons have used it for what it is intended. The bike has also been loaned to a friends child for the last 12 months and is now surplus to requirements so it is time to sell.

Let's get this straight. It is a proper small MTB and has been used for MTB stuff. This means it cannot honestly be described as immaculate, pristine, unmarked or showroom condition. Having said that, it is in great condition and everything works just as it should. Maintenance has been carried out with long term ownership in mind so when the bottom bracket got a bit sloppy I didn't hesitate to fit a sealed UN55 item, exactly the same as I fit to my own £1k+ MTB. When the chain wear measured a bit more than the accepted 0.75% I fitted a new KMC chain and genuine Shimano 7spd freewheel. Hubs/headset/forks have been serviced as required and all have been done at least once during ownership.

I think I paid list price for it as the model had been popular in 2008 and supplies were drying up when I was buying and if my memory serves me correctly it cost £169.99.

I am offering it here to forum members for £50. If it doesn't sell by the end of this weekend then it will be going on Ebay starting at £60. Collection only from Ashton-under-Lyne, east Manchester.

Too big for me, anyway I've just ordered a much better one
