I cant believe that Brand is getting most of the blame for it.

Ross was far more to blame in my opinion.......i mean he shouted "he f***ed your grandaughter" then went on to egg brand on and on to see how far he could push it......i was quiet frankly disgusted and all those people who think its blown up out of proportion should think about how they would feel if some fop haired tosser had gollered that down the phone to them...........finish rant.

The way the BBC splashes out salaries on these people saddens me. Is this the stage we've reached? Because if so, the sooner the licence fee is abolished the better. Yes, there are many good facets to the BBC output. No, they do not justify the excesses. The BBC is not so important that we couldn't do without it anymore.

I watch Al Jezeera sometimes at my parents (I only have a basic Cable package).

First time I watched it they were reporting on floods, earthquakes, political turbelence and famine from all over the world.

Stuck on GMTV and find they are talking about how Angelina Jolie is the No1 Yummy Mummy.

I know what I'd rather watch.

I listen to World Service a lot during the night, its very illuminating to hear their interpretation of what is and isnt worthy of comment about whats going on in the uk and thats its factual and not constantly geared towards scaremongering - btw remember when Panorama was reasonably well balanced and dealt with issues sensibly ... now watch it!!
