For everyone who has been riding some time if I say I spent a day learning to do drop offs and jumping over logs you will probably laugh but it was exactly what I needed!
I never had a bike when I was little so have never had two wheels experience and when your young is when you learn to do all kinds of stuff. I am a very late starter and dont need to be able to jump 5 foot high rocks and stuff but I need enough to be able to get me on some of the easy trails to buld up my confidence.
I emailed a couple ogf training centres and found this one in Llanbrynmair in Wales. we had a chat and he said I would do better on a 1 2 1 course which he gave at no extra cost. I aslo stayed the night in a really nice bunkhouse for a very small donation to air ambulance.
At the end of the day I was much better on going downhill safely, could do small drop offs and mini trype wheelies over logs and things I am likely to encounter at trails.
People laughed at me at work when I told them what I was doing but it has given me a lot more confidence and as I can practice in my local park hopefully i will get them all spot on.
if you are a beginner like me then i would really recommend them - they also do much more tougher courses 1 and 2 day for those who need to concentrate on different aspects.
