Whilst it may not be a lot to some of you, it is an achievement for me.
After my ride today had clocked 2003 miles since I started cycling again at the end of August last year.
90% of this was off road.
My next milestone (or should it be kilometerstone) is 4000 km's 9just over 2500 miles)
Because of this, my annual check-up with the cardiologist last Friday was A-OK.
The walls of my heart are getting back to normal, My glucose is spot on, and my good cholesterol is high and my bad is low.
He had recommended losing weight (I have lost 2.5 stone) and exercise, hence the cycling.
Not too bad for an old fart (nearly 63) like me
