Left the house at 9:15 this morning for 25 glorious miles around the lanes in Tetbury Gloucestershire with the wife and a few mates. It was just above freezing but i loved every minute. I saw a post on the forum previously regarding best cycling towns, well all i can say is we are so lucky in this area. You can ride for miles and hardly ever touch a main road. I will be out again tomorrow hangover permitting. ^_^

Aye, brilliant weather at the moment for cycling, especially for the middle of January. Dry, calm, sunny even. Let's hope it lasts.

I'll be out on the road bike after lunch tomorrow for a spin - strictly main roads. Was servicing the cars today, but picking parts up around lunch, and some of the roads were still icy.

Spike bike for the commute this week though !

I'm tempted to get the ice bike out for Mondays early morning commute, is it likely to be that bad or will I get away with the CX?
Will come home via the TPT myself if it is a bit drier than it was the other week :rain:

-1 when I set out, covered 50 miles and felt it once I hit around 30 knowing the long drag left to go. Was a nice refreshing ride though, had to watch for the ice patches!
