Junior size road/racer....?

My 11 yr-old daughter has just completed her 'Safer Cyclist' training at school, and now wants to ride everywhere

She has a small-ish mountain bike, and was talking about getting a bike like mine, so she can come along on my rides. I know that you used to be able to get junior size drop handle bikes, but I can only locate 2 on ebay.

Has anyone got experience of these, and could point me in the right direction - I'm very limited for funds, and as it's only a trial for her, it would need to be very low cost...(she's 5' 2" tall)

Any thoughts...?

Hey stoatsngroats, we used to live in Goda Road, then moved to Maxwell Road, before we came to the South West.

Wowee! My wife just walked along Goda road with the dog, on the way back from the beach!

....and, you won't believe this, the daughter and I rode past the end of Maxwell rd, also, on the way back from the beach!
How strange is that....?

I bet you'd rather be in the southwest, than here..?

I'm originally from Croydon, so here is fine for us - we use the beach almost every day!

I don't think you can get the Decathlon on any more. I asked at Merry Hill and they said no.

Good man User - thanks for asking! It looks like we'll be searching for a small size adult bike - just have to get the tape measure out first!
