Johnsons cycles

I popped into Johnsons cycles in Stalybridge the other day to get some brake cables for my lads bike. While in there I got chatting to the owner who's a really helpful and friendly guy, and I noticed that there was a bike on top of the display in the middle of the shop with 'Johnson' on the frame. It turns out that he builds his own bikes. It was a lovely looking bike and I'm now very tempted . Think I'll need to start saving my pennies.

Does he actually build the frames? Quite a few shops import 'branded' frames from all over.

Not sure. The frame on the bike I looked at was aluminium with carbon forks front & rear. I didn't ask if he built the frames himself though.

Bought in badged up then, nothing wrong with that mind.

Is Johnsons any good, do you know?

It is my LBS aswell, and I was just wondering what they are like?
