I reckon that Jens would be a fecking nightmare as a pundit/commentator as he is so up himself - however I do also appreciate that it may all be part of his marketability and that he could be a great pundit. But, let's face it, he's a doper. And until such time as he admits it, gets it out in the open and cleanses his soul then he'll never be taken seriously by anyone who is not a nobber. Jensie-fanboys are worse than Lance fan-boys nowadays.
Doper? Absolutely. He ticks every box and has some ticks to spare.
Jensiette Fan-Boy "Schaddahp Laygs" boredom-mongers being worse than Lancettes? Absolutely, but only up to a point.
Never taken seriously for not 'fessing up? Well... I did quite enjoy the dirty years and there'd have to be a lot of 'fessing up.
Poor commentator? I have to disagree. Much of what Henning Wehn says on Radio 4 is unfunny, but I laugh because he talks funny. Antoine de Caunes was the same in the dim and distant past. If pro-cycling ever gets to MoTD levels of TV coverage, I can imagine a sofa with posh boy Millar, Krautboy Vogt, someone to play the part of football manager Roberto martinez (probably S Sanchez or similar). It would be wonderful.
