Driver should be sacked for that, what an appalling bit of driving, hats of to the rider for remounting and finishing the stage.

Just saw it on the news a few minutes ago ... was impressed with the first aid on the move...... though less impressed with the driving. Will it affect the chances of those involved?
 
I missed todays live stage due to other commitments. But caught the end of the highlights. A terrible accident (one of many today), but it shows the courage of these guys. Total respect! Johnny Hoogerlands comments i the after race interview made me respect him even more, didnt blame anyone said it was just one of those things, before saying he was off to hospital and expecting 30 stitches!

I'm not a fan of Vinokourov, but he is a tough guy to even agree to be moved up to the road by his teammates... you could clearly see he was in pain. Not the best way to end one's career :sad:
