Ok ok I know it's not vintage but it's classic steel .

When I saw this machine poorly listed in my opinion on the bay I just had to try and get it .


So just back from picking it up from along the A45 . it's a 2 owner bike that hasn't been used for last 15+ years .

Full 531 competition tubing and buttress style lugs with a mixture of Shimano running gear mainly 600 tricolour .

My road test was all of 200 metres before the tyre's were flat again .

Just posted new thread re the newly arrived Lombardia, just a lovely bike.

The Bottecchia has had an hour of bacon foil and coke treatment on one fork and the chain stay, wow works well!

I have only seen them on Claud Butler professionals of similar vintage .

Also added a bottle cage and swapped the pedals over and had a proper spin
