Off a mate:biggrin:

I don't know if it still airworthy or not, Ive never flown one, but its very funky!!

I think I am going to have to have a bit of a wind up with the local reporter first, before trying to figure out what to do with it............Like the time I drove home from the dump with a full size hang glider on the top of the fire engine.......but thats another story:biggrin:

I'm thinking 'world record breaking static paraglider attempts new record from the top of the tower in the fire station yard'...............

Hmmmm air worthy...... something you should think about before being 1000ft up...any idea how to fly the thing.....

Daft sport....you'll end up with broken bones, or run down by an albatross !

not a clue!!

I'm not planning on launching myself off of anything just yet........but!!

I have always had an ambition of being qualified to fly one of them.............imagine cycling in the peaks and having a hike up a mountain before flying around for a bit and coming back down for beer and cake???

You know it sounds good!!!

I'd get it professionally checked out before you use it.
Instruction for paragliders isn't too pricey - probably go to the South Downs if you're where I think you are. I'm sure I've seen 10-day courses for under a grand.
Done it a few times (tandem and solo) and it's great.
