Ouch! That car's a white-off!

At least it was only a Fiat, not something expensive like a Roller....

Joking aside, it shows what can happen if you've got an unsecured load (or for example and unbelted child or dog) in the back of your car.

Thank goodness it was paint, and not paint stripper!

The wife of a man I used to work with was killed by an unsecured load hitting her on the back of the head when her car hit another which suddenly pulled out in front of her.

I was once overtaken by a car with a small child asleep on the shelf behind the rear seat - unbelievable stupidity. I've seen lots of fairly big dogs in that position too. Would you fancy having 20 kgs of dog hitting you on the back of the head at 70 mph - I certainly wouldn't! It wouldn't do the dog much good either...

There was one of those motorway cop action programmes on a while back, where a small car ran into the back of a van on a motorway, and the driver was surprised to find herself suddenly wearing her dog as a collar.

Fortunately, it was a smallish dog, and the speed was not high, so she only had a sore neck, and the dog was a bit surprised.

Just as dangerous is when the car gets rear-ended. Have you seen the videos of cars being hit with kids in the back? The acceleration sends the passive mass of the child out through the back window where they get crushed between the two vehicles on the rebound.

Are you jealous?

What a stupid question.

I think that's probably why I didn't find it funny.
