I have a vague recollection of something like this happening before ...

It is currently 23:35 but the forum software is declaring that posts made earlier today were made yesterday. Clearly the part of the software that decides that is not handling the clocks going back properly!

Oh yes! I hadn't noticed it until you pointed it out.

Computers hate the clocks going back.... or at least the people trying to sort the computers do I remember from an old job of mine!

My Dad wouldn't try the Internet before that, the day after when his computer didn't die he suddenly had the Internet and an email address! But yes I spent quite a bit of time changing lots of hard coded 19's a few years before hand.

Oh yes the millennium bug apocalypse. Sorted by putting a boot time program onto one computer out of 25 at my old office. A spectacular non-event.
