83.6% of people who view this thread know exactly what happened and chuckled when opening. I got my new Felt F95 Road Bike up and running today and decided to take it out for a couple of miles just to get some feelers for it. Amazing doesn't describe it I'm totally hooked after just a couple of miles.Anyway to the point,I invested in my first set of clipless pedals and bought some Muddyfox shoes(never again). When returning into my drive turning right I couldn't unclip my right shoe.........and fell over like an inner tube!!!! I had to take my shoe off to save my dignity as I was rolling around the deck franticaly trying to unclip. On further inspection only 1 of the 3 screws remaind and the cleat was just spinning around.Clipless pedals are very good Muddyfox shoes are very pish IMO!!!! Its safe to say that I ordered a new pair from Wiggle and will be setting the Muddyfox ones on fire!!!!Once you go clipless you dont go back.........or you just fall over and laugh at yourself!!!:hyper:

On the new pair, tighten the Cleat bolts a bit more...
So apart from loose bolts, what were wrong with the shoes? (i have dine the same before with far pricier shoes btw)

Put some blue ( medium grade ) threadlock on your cleat screws and really tighten those screws. Its not the shoes fault that a screw came loose. The exact same thing happened to me a few years ago and every now and then I check the screws are still tight.

The shoes were fine apart from the loose bolts. I tightened them to the max but when I checked them after the "moment" the bolt was just falling out. On the other shoe one of holes is too tight so I left that out and just ran with the two. That was fine and I was really worried about this shoe more than the problem one. I practiced against the wall clipping in and out and had no problems then gave then a final tighten before I went out. Strange one,no damage to the bike or myself and I actually laughed at myself.........does it count if nobody seen me???^_^

Thanks for that tip. Fitted first time spd pedals yesterday and only had chance for a trip up the road and back. Will make sure I really tighten the cleats before the weekend ride.
