My son and myself often go on Beanos as we call them... a short boys only holiday.. they started years ago when me and the wife split our holidays to cut down on childcare costs.. I have posted about these in the past.. Penkridge, the Peaks, Stone Henge etc... Ben now being nearly 16 the splitting of our holidays isn't required as much but we still have a week each with him in the summer holidays so hes not on his own so long (week each and week all of us so 3 out of the 6 he's got company . last summer we went to visit my wife's auntie on the Isle of Lewis... around 15 miles from Stornoway leaving Mrs V at home. I managed to get a road bike for Ben and we took them with us... here's some pics, cycling and photography what could be better, ben even took a 35mm Pentax with him!
