Designed and built to be used outside- can't say water ingress is ever a problem I've had with ~£20 cyclometers, it'll be fine.

I've never had a problem with water getting into computers. I think I'd miss the ''total time'' and ''total distance'' functions - from the listed functions it looks like it resets to zero. I find they're useful for keeping an eye on overall distance and average speeds. And of course if you keep records of rides, it doesn't matter if you forget to do one because you can work out the time, distance and ave speed for the earlier ride afterwards.

I've got a tiny bit of water in a cycle computer (not that one), as the glass mists up when there is sun on it after rain. It never seems to cause any problems though.
