Is this brake fixable?

Hi, opinions and advice please.
This cantelever brake is not returning to position. When I pull it back the spring end just slides past the adjustment screw and it doesn't even try to spring back into position.
It's from my daily commuter of three years, in all weathers.
Is it time to buy a new one, or is there a solution?

The spring may have snapped . Hard to tell from your picture. (You are fitting it so that the spring end is inserted into one of the holes on the brake mount aren't you?)
Canti brakes are so cheap nowadays I would just replace it.

I take it your mounting it right then a clean and lube might rescue it but if the spring is damaged it may be best just to replace.

Thanks both, managed to get it working...sort of.
But have ordered a mini v brake to replace it...... it's never been great since new to be honest.
