Is this bike 'jinxed' ?

Got a loan road bike for trial on Saturday.
Went out Sunday.......forcast was light showers. I got the hurricane from hell!!!
Went out yesterday. 5 miles in some idiot....parked on the opposite side and facing the "wrong" way decides to do a 3 point turn......no indication and didnt see me till he knocked me off**
Then 15 miles out I got a p******re.......my first for (literally) 50 years (I cannot recall ever fixing one since I was a kid).
**the guy said "I honestly didnt see you" to which I said "Im glad about that....I would be really upset if you had seen me and still knocked me off.
Do I try another ride or give up?:

*At the risk of promoting drunk riding I reluctantly point out that beer is a metaphor for relax and chill. If you have a real beer - which is good - then please allow sufficient time for your liver to metabolise the blood in your alcohol stream before going for a ride on a public road.

I've had a similar experience with my current bike.
I bought my steel frame to replace the harsh alloy of my Dawes Vantage and the things been nothing but a pita since it was delivered and built up.
I suspect my old Vantage branded me a traitor and cursed the new frame as punishment.
It rides nicer than the Vantage though so I'm sticking with it

Just be glad you've not yet dropped 2k on the bike. It's a Specialized innit

That said sue the bloke who knocked you off for 5k and get a custom built steel or Ti bike for proper comfort riding
