Is this any good for the money?

Being pretty clueless as to what I'm looking for, I came across this hunting around on t'internet and wondered what any of you guys thought of it.

I'm 5'10" so was considering a 17" frame as I think the 19" maybe a little on the large size....

Any thoughts, comments.

Merlin cycles are a good company, ive not heard any bad things about them.

I'm 5'10" and use a 19" frame on my Hybrid. Always best to find somewhere where you can try before you buy if possible.

I don't have suspension myself but I've read a lot of comments on here saying how it can take the energy out of the pedalling so unless you intend to use it on rough terrain (or it locks out) you may come to regret it.

Finally, you do realise it's the frame only and not a full bike right? (don't mean to be condescending but it would be a bit annoying if you hadn't seen it and ordered it).

You do know this is for frame only, no forks, no wheels, no nothing else?
17" might be a bit small for you, depends on the top tube length, your body dimensions and what you intend to use it for?
Its a decent enough frame at a good price.
Merlin are not highly regarded within the cycle trade due to how they achieve their low prices, (sorry can't say why) but they seem sound as far as customer service is concerned.
