I just bought this bike. I was pretty certain that it was a 1930's Raleigh Record Ace, but now that I have picked it up, it says "Club" on the down tube rather than "R.R.A". Can anybody help me identify this?

Thanks

Is there any mounting for a pump on the seat tube?

Any picture for the "Club" has a seat tube mounted pump. From introduction until the "Ace" took over in 34/35
The "Ace" had it mounted on the downtube.

My pump mounts are on the down tube as you can see in the pictures. Unfortunately mine has several of the original parts replaced over the years like the wheels, mudguards, cranks, pedals, gear lever and possibly more so it's hard to identify the bike from its parts.

The second link given is the better of the two. Even lists what should be on an origional, extras included.

But whichever way round its named "Club" first or second in the name, the seat tube mounted pump is the same. Down tube on the "Ace" which replaced it.

"Club" was in production from '28, until '34. Odd geared hub fitted that wasn't produced after '32.

The 1932 model year saw a number of improvements/changes to the Record:
a 23-inch frame offered in addition to 20", 21" and 22".
ladies model withdrawn
new "R" pattern wingnuts on wheel axles
new Raleigh racing quill pedals with little Herons heads
new Raleigh chainring incorporating the Heron Head
new Raleigh racing hubs with locked bearing cones and spring clip to oil hole
white Bluemel Noweight 'guards as an alternate to the stock black ones
"Raleigh" in gold blocks (this marked the first use of this distinctive typeface transfer that would be used for various Raleighs and repaints for another 40 years) on downtube replaces "Raleigh" on seat tube
fork lamp bracket changed from right to left fork blade as standard (could be special ordered to fit leftside)
Assuming a 1928 model

I cleaned it up today. This is all the original parts, everything else that was on it was not original. I also put those NOS Dunlop grips I got a while ago on it and they look really smart. Unfortunately finding all the correct parts for it will probably prove to be very time consuming and expensive, so I MAY end up selling this. I massive shame because I really would like to keep it. I will take some better pictures when I get hold of a better non blury camera.
