I cant run the site from my Home PC on chrome...its incredibly slow with a maaaaaaaaasive lag when typinggggggg

Only seems to work for me in IE...in Chrome my processor starts to make a worrying noise, the screen takes an ager to refresh (with lots of empty grey and white squares)

Ie runs just fine though

Had this yesterday, there is a thread about it.

Try clearing the cache and reloading.

Worked for me, now all good (Chrome)

If you clear your Chrome browser cache and then revisit CC and press CTRL + F5 to reload the updated file, that should fix it for you.
