Is my tyre knackered?

Another thread asking if another tyre is borked. I make that 3 now.

Tyre is a 700x23c Schwalbe Ultremo ZX. I'd just pumped them up to 100 psi and noticed this. They are rated up to 145psi
There's a slight bulge where the larger gap is on the left.

Erring on the side of caution I've swapped this tyre out for another one

It looks as though it's delaminating - rubber coming away from the carcase. Probably best to replace before it fails. You wouldn't be able to ride very far on the casing.

Bulging isn't that rare with Schwalbe tyres, unfortunately - even with new tyres (had two of them).
Never had that experience with tyres from other manufacturers.

Tyre was on a bike purchased secondhand, no idea when it was bought. Probably low mileage I agree but no way to prove that. It didn't have that bulge when I first got it.

No, I'm not considering it! As per my OP I'd already changed it. I was just seeking confirmation, which I now have unanimously.
